Major VAT Changes in the Construction Industry – Are you Prepared?
From the 1st October 2019, the way the construction industry charges VAT is undergoing a major change. Most businesses registered for CIS who are VAT registered will be affected by these significant changes and will need to prepare in order to minimise disruption and risks.
The introduction of this change will mean contractors using the services of sub-contractors will be responsible for accounting and paying the VAT due on their sub-contractors invoices. This will have a major impact on the cash flow of affected businesses.
During the seminar we will discuss;
- What the upcoming changes are,
- When they will apply,
- Who and what services will be affected,
- Why the changes are being made,
- The impact on your business,
The seminar will be held at our Myers Clark Offices in Watford on Tuesday 10th September 2019 from 5.00pm – 6.30pm. The event is free to attend, and drinks and refreshments will be provided.
