Paul Windmill ACA (Partner)

Paul is the Managing Partner of Myers Clark and head of the firm's not-for-profit team, specialising in charities, livery companies, independent schools and associations. Paul also provides business advice for owner-managed businesses.

In line with Myers Clark's commitment to its local community, Paul is the ICAEW Local Careers Adviser for Watford and is involved in setting up the Myers Clark 100th Anniversary Endowment Fund within the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.

A keen sports fan, Paul enjoys playing football and cricket, and spending free time with his family.

Nicola Ferriday FCA FCIE (Manager: Not-for-Profit Team)

Nicola is responsible for ensuring that the audit work is properly planned and she supervises fieldwork. Nicola joined Myers Clark in March 2007 to head up the rapidly growing not-for-profit team where she is responsible for keeping everyone technically up to date and to consolidate, develop and promote services for not for profit clients.

Her experience in the not-for-profit sector spans 24 years. Nicola was a founder partner of a specialist charity firm for 12 years, following which she ran her own specialist charity accountancy practice around the demands of two growing children.

Nicola is Lead Trainer for the Association of Charity Independent Examiners. She researches, writes and updates all their training programmes and delivers seminars at their AGM. Nicola is a member of the Charities and Voluntary Sector Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and keeps up to date by attending conferences, reading sector publications and researching specific topics.

Nicola was invited to join the Fund Panel of Watford CVS in November 2008, and now works alongside prominent members of Watford’s business community, including Watford’s Mayor, Dorothy Thornhill. Nicola has presented to the AGM of the Hertfordshire Community Foundation and writes articles for the Foundation’s newsletters.

Outside her work with Myers Clark, Nicola also undertakes Independent Examinations for smaller charities and is treasurer of her son’s PTA.

Helena Hermsen

Helena joined Myers Clark as a trainee in June 2007 and became a full time member of the not-for-profit team in September 2009.

Helena is studying to become a Certified Chartered Accountant whilst developing practical skills and experience working with our not-for-profit clients.
